Participating at the BC First Nations Forestry Councils - Career Connect fair at the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology.
Throughout 2021 and 2022 Stinson Aerial participated in the online versions of the Career Connect fairs hosting a Virtual Booth in the exhibit hall. Kim McLean, Operations Systems and First Nations Provincial Coordinator lead the development of these exhibits. In October, we attended the event in person! The Nicola Valley Institute of Technology (NVIT) of which Kim has a diploma in Environmental Services, hosted the two day event with student representation from a number of schools throughout both days. It was so exciting to see the excitement and energy from such a diverse set of student backgrounds. We thought it helped by having our Cixwatin heavy lift aircraft on display as they entered the gymnasium.
