Canadian Emergency Responders Robotics Association (CERRA) – Edmonton, Alberta
Stinson Aerial was honoured to participate in a two-day emergency response training session alongside CERRA, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the Edmonton Police Service Bomb Squad, and the Edmonton Fire Service. During the event, we demonstrated the emergency response capabilities of the DJI Fly Cart 30 – GERTRUDE.
The demonstrations showcased advanced applications, including deploying a bomb robot through the roof of a bus, delivering a stretcher to the 6th floor, transporting a self-contained breathing apparatus to the 5th floor, and pulling three lengths of firefighting hose to the 6th-floor balcony. The hose was secured by a firefighter and tied to a ladder for rapid deployment.
The event successfully highlighted innovative technologies, providing emergency responders with effective tools to enhance their operations.
